Magic's Gary Harris: Staying in Orlando
Rotowire
Harris agreed to a two-year, $14 million contract with the Magic on Monday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Harris has elected to return to Orlando after seeing his production dip yet again during the 2023-24 season. He averaged 6.9 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 54 appearances (27 starts), and he's played in 102 games over the past two years. Harris figures to serve primarly in a bench role in 2024-25, likely playing backup shooting guard minutes behind Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

Magic's Goga Bitadze: Staying in Orlando
Rotowire
Bitadze and the Magic agreed to a three-year, $25 million contract Monday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
In his first full season with the Magic, Bitadze made 62 appearances and 33 starts. As a starter, he averaged 7.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.7 blocks and 0.8 steals in 23.8 minutes. As a reserve, Bitadze averaged just 2.1 points and 1.6 rebounds in 5.9 minutes per game. Wendell Carter has two years left on his current deal, so Bitadze projects to be a backup again in 2024-25.

Magic's Kentavious Caldwell-Pope: Catches on with Orlando
Rotowire
Caldwell-Pope agreed Sunday with the Magic on a three-year, $66 million deal, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Caldwell-Pope is headed to Orlando after spending the last two seasons with the Nuggets. The 31-year-old wing averaged 10.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.6 three-pointers and 1.3 steals per game in 31.6 minutes per contest over his 76 appearances while shooting 40.6 percent from three-point range. Caldwell-Pope will probably see only a modest increase in usage in Orlando even though he's no longer playing alongside three-time MVP Nikola Jokic and another premium scorer in Jamal Murray, but he should be a notable upgrade at the shooting guard spot for a Magic squad that often started Gary Harris, Caleb Houstan or Anthony Black alongside Franz Wagner on the wing last season.

Magic's Tristan da Silva: Selected No. 18 by Orlando
Rotowire
The Magic selected Da Silva with the No. 18 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft on Wednesday.
Da Silva spent four years at Colorado and finished his senior year with averages of 16.0 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.9 triples, 1.1 steals and 1.8 turnovers per game on 49.3 percent shooting from the floor and 83.5 percent at the charity stripe. While he's not quite elite in any one area, he does have a nice feel for the game and plays with a lot of effort on defense. He projects as a solid role player, although it could be tough for him to find minutes early on, as he'll be battling with Joe Ingles, Anthony Black and Jonathan Isaac for the reserve forward minutes behind Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero.
